Basic Plain Waffle

by Kristina Bathan on May 2, 2013

• 2 eggs

• 2 cups of all-purpose flour

• 1 3/4 cups of milk

• 1/2 cup of vegetable oil

• 1 tablespoon of white sugar

• 4 teaspoons of baking powder

• 1/4 teaspoons of salt

• 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1. Preheat your waffle maker. Beat eggs in a large bowl with a hand beater until the eggs are fluffy (soft peak). Now at this point, you want to add in your flour, milk, vegetable oil, augar, baking soda, salt and vanilla to your eggs until smooth.

2. Let your batter sit for about 2 minutes as you clean up any mess. Pour your waffle batter into your waffle maker. If you are afraid of havingtour wafflessticking onto the waffle maker, you might try brushing on some melted butter or vegetable oil.  Also, you might need to make more or less, depending on your waffle maker’s manufactures instructions.
